ANTI-THERMAL SYSTEMS

• Anti-thermal systems are technological solutions developed to minimize detection of military personnel and assets, thereby reducing losses and enabling operations to proceed and conclude as planned.
• For mission success, accurate operational planning and intelligence are essential for the armed forces. This same goal—defeating opposing forces—is also the adversary’s primary objective. Key determinants of an operation’s outcome include geography, climate, logistics, up-to-date information on civilian elements, and above all, avoiding detection and minimizing casualties.

Land forces must be correctly coordinated and commanded, and special units should operate in an integrated manner to achieve objectives with minimal losses. Continuity of command, control and communications between operational elements is vital. Any loss or interruption in secure, fast communications can negatively affect the operation.

Because the military aim is to degrade and destroy the enemy’s capabilities, protecting and concealing military elements (personnel, vehicles, systems) is of paramount importance.

• ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) capabilities provide on-the-ground observation and detection of hostile elements. Satellites, UAVs, radar and imaging technologies are used to locate and designate targets for engagement.

• Anti-thermal systems offer the advantage of deceiving or evading IR sensors or sensor operators, and reducing the detectability of IR-guided munitions and ISR systems. By providing a tactical advantage, these systems can decisively influence the outcome of engagements.

Contrary to conventional protections such as CARC coatings and IR reflective materials (IRR), our ANTI-THERMAL solutions enhance IR concealment capabilities to a much higher degree.

• SCCS / ANTI-THERMAL applications act as advanced detection-and-targeting countermeasures, suppressing the heat emissions of protected personnel or vehicles while preventing effective acquisition and targeting.

NATO-grade coatings have been shown to reduce target-acquisition lock-on probability by up to 90%. They also reduce heat absorption, lowering internal temperatures of combat vehicles and infrastructure.

VEHICLE & ASSET COATING

(Composite Surface Coating
Primer & Topcoat Application)

Our coating delivers exceptional performance and durability while requiring no major surface modification. Suitable for nearly all platform surfaces, it provides robust, long-lasting protection and is applied to selected vehicles and assets as required.

  • APPLICATION AREAS
  • • Main battle tanks, armoured fighting vehicles and troop carriers
  • • Fixed or mobile weapon systems of every type
  • • All classes of military vehicles — maritime and land platforms
  • • Military and strategic facilities

IR / Thermal Suppression: ANTI-THERMAL products reflect and disrupt thermal/infrared radiation. By operating on principles beyond conventional IR reflectivity, coated or concealed objects gain enhanced concealment against infrared scans, reducing detectability across both optical and IR spectra.
Coating systems are fully compliant with STANAG 4319 — Counter-Surveillance Requirements for Main Battle Tanks (Infrared/Thermal bands 1.9–14 μm) — designed to minimise platform/background signature and degrade the acquisition performance of heat-seeking anti-tank munitions.
Reduces probability of detection and engagement and produces a lower-grade, blurred thermal trace that complicates enemy targeting and tracking.

  • • Counter-Sensor Performance: Defeats modern night-vision and thermal-imaging equipment, as well as sensor-based target-acquisition systems and ISR platforms.
  • • Preserves and increases platform and personnel survivability against IR-guided munitions and ISR detection by disrupting lock-on functionality and offering a decisive tactical benefit.
  • • Color & Finish: Manufactured with production technology that achieves close conformity to standard color systems (RAL and FS 595), enabling consistent visual and spectral matching.

ANTI-THERMAL / IR FLEXIBLE COATING FILM

Our coating systems are fully compliant with STANAG 4319 — “Counter-Surveillance Requirements for Main Battle Tanks — Infrared/Thermal Bands 1.9–14 µm” — and are engineered to minimise platform/background signature in order to degrade detection and the acquisition performance of heat-seeking anti-tank munitions.

• Reduces the probability of detection and engagement and produces a lower-grade, blurred thermal trace on hostile sensors.
• Defeats modern night-vision and thermal-imaging equipment, as well as sensor-based target-acquisition and ISR systems.
• Preserves and enhances platform and personnel survivability against IR-guided munitions and ISR platforms.
• Disrupts IR-guided munition lock-on, delivering a decisive operational advantage to the user.

Tailored camouflage & spectral design

ANTI-THERMAL coatings are designed and manufactured to suit the specific operational profile and camouflage patterns of each armed force. While matching the visual camouflage used by a customer, the coating also establishes an IR-signature camouflage pattern to provide passive concealment across both visual and thermal spectra.
Typical camouflage palette (examples): Desert, Sand, Khaki, Tan, Coyote, Woodland Green, Olive Brown, Bronze Green, Mud Brown, Black, Shadow Grey, Navy Blue, White, etc.

• Production technology delivers close conformity to standard colour systems (RAL and FS 595) for consistent visual and spectral matching.
• Provides thermal/IR suppression benefits while preserving the vehicle’s external appearance and delivering full camouflage functionality.
• Significantly reduces detection ranges and enhances survivability and lethality advantages on the battlefield.

Product form: ANTI-THERMAL / IR concealment coating systems (SCCS) are supplied as a roll-film for straightforward application to vehicles and assets.

• PROTECTION AGAINST NWIR / SWIR / MWIR (3–5 µm) / LWIR (8–14 µm) SENSORS Effective vs. UAVs, seeker-guided munitions, ATGMs, MANPADS and other IR-guided threats
• Our ANTI-THERMAL / IR flexible coating film provides protection against a broad range of electro-optical and infrared sensors — including NWIR, SWIR, MWIR (3–5 µm) and LWIR (8–14 µm) bands — and against detection from UAVs, seeker-guided munitions, anti-tank guided missiles and similar systems.

No special surface preparation or specialist applicator is required — concealment capability becomes effective immediately after application.

• Superior to classic IRR camouflage: As a flexible vehicle cladding system (SCCS) it conceals heat emissions and acts as an advanced detection-and-targeting countermeasure.

High-value countermeasure: Vital protection against UAV-delivered missiles, ATGMs, MANPADS and ISR sensor arrays.

Supplied as rolls or single panels; can be applied directly or cut to shape to create bespoke camouflage patterns and colour combinations.

Re-deployable patterning: suitable for platforms operating in multiple environments — patterns can be re-painted or replaced in the field.

“Cut – Stick – Transform” — simple application: cut to shape, adhere, and convert the platform from visible to concealed.

OPERATIONAL & MATERIAL BENEFITS Available in a wide range of colours and camouflage patterns for use in: Urban, Arctic, Woodland, Rocky, Desert and Monotone regional palettes (e.g., Green, Olive, Desert Tan, Brown, Coyote, Black, Grey, Navy, White, etc.).

Provides thermal/IR suppression while preserving the vehicle’s external appearance and full camouflage functionality.

Significantly reduces detection ranges and complicates lock-on by IR seekers, enhancing platform and personnel survivability.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE & PERFORMANCE
• Operational temperature range after application: –53 °C to +107 °C.
• Excellent resistance to mild alkalis, acids, salt spray, fuel spills and water ingress.
• Reduces internal heating of vehicles through solar reflection properties.
Typical material service life: 2–3 years (subject to operational use and environmental exposure).
